Linda K. Wertheimer, a former education editor of The Boston Globe and veteran journalist, is the author of Faith Ed, Teaching About Religion In An Age of Intolerance, published in 2015 by Beacon Press. Linda, a 2014 nonfiction finalist in the Massachusetts Cultural Council artist fellowship awards competition, will be a prose writer-in-residence in August 2016 at The Chautauqua Writers’ Center. Her writing has appeared in The Boston Globe MagazineThe Washington PostUSA TodayThe Atlantic online, The Writer, and other publications. A GrubStreet instructor, she has a Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University.
